I wonder if they really had a runny nose, or that's just what the reporter wrote because he's writing cold symptoms down. It would be the first time I've ever seen "runny nose" listed for any H5N1 patient (or Spanish Flu patient for that matter). If repeated in someone else, it would indicate that the virus has somehow changed.

WHO update says "runny nose".
